How long does the oil last?

This depends a lot on the business! Some businesses have fantastic airflow or a smaller space, so their scenting oil can last longer. Other businesses have larger spaces that require more oil consumption in order to properly scent the space. We find that the average medium sized business goes through about 100ml of oil in one month if they are running it six to seven days each week - about 8 hours a day.

Are the oils safe for use in the public?

Yes - safety is our biggest priority when it comes to diffusing oils in your space! Every oil you get from ProRoma is IFRA certified and hypoallergenic. They are not going to harm people, pets or the environment.

Can I put water in the diffusers?

ProRoma diffusers are not meant to be diffuse water or to act as humidifiers. We cannot guarantee the safety of what you are diffusing into your environment if you choose to do so.

How much space will this diffuser scent?

We like to create realistic expectations and say that this ProRoma diffuser can effectively scent about 2000 square feet of space (About the size of a large living area.) However, other factors can impact how your diffused aroma travels - like your airflow and how high your ceilings are! We encourage you to place near an air vent to get the best scenting effect.

Do you have other diffusers other than this one?

We do! We have diffusers that can scent anywhere from 500 sq. feet to diffusers that can be integrated into commercial HVAC systems that serve tens of thousands of square feet. Each runs on the same technology and has the ability to be set to only run during open hours. They all have the capability to tailor the scent dispersion level, as well. Is there a discount if I have multiple diffusers?

Yes - we offer a 10% discount per month, per diffuser. In a situation where a client needed more than 10 diffusers in a space, we are happy to provide a more personalized quote for your needs.

Does anyone ever NOT like the scent in a business?

Scent is subjective - just like art, clothing or food. While you will likely please 98% of the individuals that walk into your space, it's absolutely possible that someone walks in who just doesn't like the aroma you have being dispersed. However, we encourage our clients to work toward pleasing that 98% and take the rest with a "grain of salt." If you do start to get frequent complaints - it's very possible that your scenting device is dispersing too much at too high of a level. Which can happen when an owner or manager becomes "nose numb" to their scent and increases the level because they think that customers can't smell it. This is also why we encourage owners and managers to come in with a fresh nose from outside to "test" the scent level of their space before increasing the scent dispersion level drastically.
