There are many factors that can go into how long oil will last. It primarily depends on two factors: how many hours each day you are running your diffuser, and the dispersion level that you have your diffuser set to.
To give you a general idea, we have found that:
- 10ml of oil will last 1 month when diffused 4 hours a day in the ProRoma Mini Diffuser.
- 100ml of oil will last 1 month when diffused for 6-8 hours a day in the ProRoma Table Tower or Tower Diffuser. Dispersion level also greatly effects this result.
- 200-500ml of oil will last 1 month when diffused for 6-8 hours a day in the ProRoma HVAC Diffuser. The dispersion level will also greatly effect how long oil lasts.
You are welcome to use any diffuser with ProRoma oils - however, these oils are formulated to be used in a waterless, atomizing diffuser. We can't guarantee the same scenting effect if mixed with water or diffused in non-ProRoma diffusers.
Yes - safety is our biggest priority when it comes to diffusing oils in your space! Every oil you get from ProRoma is IFRA certified and hypoallergenic. They are not going to harm people, pets or the environment. They are not meant for oral consumption in any capacity.
ProRoma oils are not meant to be diffused with water or to be placed in humidifiers. We cannot guarantee the safety of what you are diffusing into your environment if you choose to do so.
This completely depends on the size of your space, the diffuser that you are using, how long you are diffusing each day and how long you want the oil to last... As a general rule of thumb, we encourage you to start small. You can always add more if you find you need it - but starting with a smaller amount of oil will allow you to get an idea of how much you need for your personal space.
If you plan to diffuse ProRoma oils in a ProRoma diffuser, we recommend starting with the following size depending on which diffuser you have:
- ProRoma Mini Diffuser: 10ml
- ProRoma Table Tower: 100ml
- ProRoma Tower: 100ml
- ProRoma HVAC: 250ml
