We recommend you diffuse them in whatever way you prefer! You could add them to a traditional oil/wax warmer, water based diffuser, reed diffuser or cold air diffuser. ProRoma offers a variety of cold air diffusers if you don't have a means of diffusing the oil. This is our favorite way to experience fragrance!
There are many factors that can go into how long oil will last. It primarily depends on two factors: how many hours each day you are diffusing your oil, and what type of method you are using to diffuse the oil in your space.
To give you a general idea, we have found that:
- 10ml of oil will last 1 month when diffused 4 hours a day in the ProRoma Mini Diffuser.
We find that 10ml of oil will last an individual user about one month.
You are welcome to use any diffuser method with ProRoma oils! We have found that a waterless, atomizing diffuser is our favorite and most safe way to diffuse. However, you are welcome to diffuse in an oil/wax warmer, through a reed diffuser, traditional water diffuser or your own waterless, atomizing diffuser.
Yes - safety is our biggest priority when it comes to diffusing oils in your space! Every oil you get from ProRoma is IFRA certified and hypoallergenic. They are not going to harm people, pets or the environment. They are not meant for oral consumption in any capacity.
We find that when the oils are mixed with a water based diffuser, that the aroma doesn't have the same lasting effect that we find to be most enjoyable. However, you are welcome to add a few drops to your traditional water based diffuser. For the best aroma experience, we would recommend an oil or wax warmer, waterless atomizing diffuser or reed diffuser.
This completely depends on the size of your space, the diffuser that you are using, how long you are diffusing each day and how long you want the oil to last... As a general rule of thumb, we encourage you to start small. You can always add more if you find you need it - but starting with a smaller amount of oil will allow you to get an idea of how much you need for your personal space.
If you plan to diffuse ProRoma oils in a ProRoma diffuser, we recommend starting with the following size depending on which diffuser you have:
